Countdown in Sweden


Hello readers. I'm back.
These are a few ads we did for Bose in Sweden. They have just opened a Bose shop in Stockholm and in Malmø, so we went traditional and made countdown ads in the local newspapers. We wish Sweden good luck with the new shops.

Its LOVE baby



Oh I almost forgot this one. Shame on me. A few weeks ago we created this invitation for the gallapremiere (a word I seem to write a lot these days) for the new movie 'Kærlighed på Film' (Just another Love Story) by the famous danish film-director Ole Bornedal. How could I forget this one?

New prices on Bose Lifestyle



Bose wanted to shoot a quick little campaign to promote new prices on their high-end surroundsound system. The campaign was only for Denmark and Norway this time, but Sweden and Finland is asking for a similar campaign for them. More on that later. Enjoy

Eastern influences



Inspired by russian propaganda posters we made this galla invitation for the new movie 'Eastern Promises' by David Cronenberg. The movie is the second in a row with Danish Superstar Viggo Mortensen leading a Cronenberg production. 'Eastern Promises' is about the russian mafia in London, but go see for yourself. It's brilliant. Viggo Mortensen actually showed up in Denmark for the premiere and yes...we where there to. Great stuff!

Galla galla galla



2 more galla premiere invitation from SF-Film. First Michael Moores 'Sicko' and second new danish family adventure 'Guldhornene'. The funniest thing happened just before the release of 'Guldhornene'. 'Guldhornene' translate into 'the golden horns' and the two golden horns made in 400 AD - were stolen from a museum in southern Jutland. Although the showpieces were not made of gold and are merely copies of the originals, which were stolen two centuries ago, the burglary sparked a national outcry in Denmark. Ironically, the original horns were stolen in 1802 by a goldsmith and melted down into coins and jewellery in what has become Denmark’s most notorious theft.
Fortunately the golden horns where found by the police really quickly, but it made a buzz in Denmark and that rubbed of on the movie premiere.

3·2·1 IN THE AIR



And wouldn't you know it? Here we go again with a follow up campaign for Bose 3·2·1 systems in scandinavia. Not that many elements this time but still enough to please and to draw attention. This campaign is really rather identical with the former summer campaign for 3·2·1 but with a fall-feeling to it.

The campaigns we have made for Bose this past year have contributed to a pretty descent success in Scandinavia. A success that some of the other countries no longer can deny. A huge Bose marked, Great Britain, have already asked to see what we are doing and if you read this, you are more than welcome to join the party.

As I write this, we have just concluded the layout/idea for the next campaign for Bose Denmark and Norway and other than that we have done an invitation for the gallapremiere on "kærlighed på film" by the great danish director "Ole Bornedal".

3·2·1 TAKE OF



Another campaign for Bose. And again, all of scandinavia is on-board this flight. Bose 3·2·1 systems are surroundsound from only two speakers and it works amazingly. Bose is lowering their prices on these systems for the summer and wanted to make a small in-store campaign to go along with the "trade-in-campaign" we also just did. These HIFI systems are more affordable for young peple so we made a fresh look with a illustration summer feeling to target that group. Again we made windowbanners, shelf-signs, wall stickers, posters and ads.

Finally the first campaign this year for Bose is done. Earliere this year, Bose Sweden and Finland came on-board as clients, so this campaign for Bose has truly been nordic. Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland all aproved this campaign for their high-end Lifestyle® System summer sale. Shoppers can trade in their old stereos in 500 HIFI shops in scandinavia and recieve a huge discount on a new Bose® Lifestyle® System. We have created windowbanners, lightsigns, posters, wall stickers and a ad-campaign.

The idea was to show how your old HIFI might have filled your livingroom with huge ugly stereos and speakers and you could trade the mess with the world most popular home entertainment system, beautiful small Lifestyle from BOSE.

Mindshare says hello in colours



Again, for MindShare, we have made a series of Postcard for them to use in any occasion. We have used the contrast from black and white photos showing media situations and plenty of colourbars to spice up the cards. Of course we are very happy with the result. Sometimes the smallest jobs are the most rewarding.

Mindshare shares their mind



This spring we have helped the danish department of MindShare, a worldwide media company, with sharing some danish media information in a creditcard size z-folder. This is the 3rd year we produce this folder for them and it is highly popular. It's an easy way of having important mediainformation at hand at any time. What is not easy - and we do like the challenge - is how to fit all that information in such a small format. And each year we get even more information, but the trick is to keep it simple as always. Invitation to movie premiere




Sorry sorry sorry - people keep telling me to update our blog and I really don't have an excuse. Just didn't get around to it. But here we go again.
In the past months we have been working on a complete set of 2007 campaigns for Bose Nordic (DK, NO, SE and FI). We're talking 2 summer campaigns, 2 autumn campaigns, 2 winter campaigns and a few smaller jobs for them as well. We will write more about those when we finish the induvidual jobs.

What we have finished is 5 movie galla premiere invitations for SF-Film. The movies are "Rocky Balboa", "Because I said so", "uden for kærligheden", "Vikaren" and danish pricewinner "Kunsten at græde i kor". We just love working with movies and have also completed 3 more 60+ pages Film Guide's since our last blog. Other than that we are helping ad-agencies with their workload aswell.

Our client Bose have with one of their new products, "Bose in-ear headphones", created quite a buzz in the gadget industry. Latest on the famous "Thecoolhunter" website. We quote; "When it comes to bud phones, it's Bose or bust!" Good one!

"It's just a line"


Now we've done it! Our new selfpromotion and we use the easiest trick in the book. Breasts!
The ad will feature in the movie magazine "Film Guide". You can read more about the magazine in our last blog and if you pick up the magazine you will see our ad in its full size. We hope the ad will cause traffic on our website and the website will make people call us with lots of jobs to keep us busy. We are ready for it.

We are also planning some kind of free work for a good cause. Did I just write FREE? Yes I did. We want to help out as much as we can and we are putting a group of people together to find the right cause to help out this year. Next year - its another cause. More about that soon.

Another Film Guide magazine and lots of freelancing



February have been a little crazy for The Mark. We have been working freelance – almost fulltime – for Copenhagen agency "Propaganda" on various projects. Busy bee's they are. And at the same time completed another 60 pages movie magazine "Film Guide" for march. The magazine have aprox. 500.000 readers which is the largest number for a current danish movie magazine. We have been working with "Film Guide" for over a year now, and its a very exciting assignment because we all love movies. The magazine is free and collectable at about 160 cinemas and 450 café's. It's on the street 10 times a year.

Winter under the table


In the middle of all the confusion when we moved into our new office, we squeezed in this assignment for a small theatre company called "eKleKtisK". It's a folder to present their new show "Winter under the table". A small but very interesting job for us. The look and feel of the finished product was exactly as we intended.
