The Mark rocks RockZoo

RockZoo is one of our smallest clients, but as we love them all and always takes our work seriously, small is not a problem! We have created the new logo for RockZoo, a hard rock music management agency. We have also helped them out with a few posters and are currently working on a website design for RockZoo. Stay tuned!

For the love of movies

We never write much about the movie-magazine we do almost every month but the truth is we love to work with movie-related projects. Film Guide is out every month in the cinemas and cafés around the country and this year we have already made 5 issues. The thing is, when you work on the same type of work over and over again you have to constantly think about how to improve your work and get new ideas, but all within the design guidelines we have made for the magazine and that is actually the great part about it. Always stay on our toes and stay sharp! Here's this years covers!

Bose is back...in black

This winter (january/february) we helped Bose with an in-store campaign followed by newspaper ads. This is all about making this Bose product the hero of the campaign. Speaking earliere about going international with our clients, working for Bose has showed us that this is a task, we can manage.

NetCom

Another redesign of NetCom's IT-course catalog has landed. Here is how it turned out.

A pocketfull of MindShare

For a few years now we have helped our client MindShare with this sweet little pocketfull of danish media information. It's a very quick way to get media information from the biggest players on the danish media-scene without browsing various websites. Get your own from www.mindshare.dk

The Mark welcomes NovoFine

The Mark are very proud to invite our new client 'NovoFine' into the family, that is our clients. NovoFine is a part of one of Novo Nordisk. Novo Nordisk is a healthcare company and a world leader in diabetes care and NovoFine produce the needles - the finishing touch to diabetes care. At the moment we are working on a worldwide ad-campaign and hopefully there will be many other challenges for NovoFine in the future.

Welcome to 2008

2008...two thousand and eight....wow that is actually 10 years for The Mark (Mark). It's a pretty amazing feeling to enter our 10th year as a professional graphic design and production studio. We just celebrated this event with our friends, co-workers, clients and family and I was left with a heartfelt and warm feeling of pride and love. Thank you for everyone who showed up. It's already may, even close to june now, and this is 2008s first blog from us. So what have we been up to? Have we really been THAT busy? Well... yes and no. We have worked a lot for Ad-agencies this year and we can't show any of the work because of sworn secrecy ;o) to the agencies. We don't want their clients to think they can't handle the work themselves now do we? All this work included a very nice magazine for a very big car-company which we did the layout on, a big campaign in seven different languages, a lot of ad-hoc freelance work and even two books.

But work is not all we are getting into this year. At the end of 2007 we where a small part of the buzz surrounding the first design association in Denmark, DDA (Danish Design Assciation). This is a very exciting collaboration between some of Denmarks leading design companies. It's no secret that Danish design is world renound but still there is a need for internationalisation and collaboration on a lot of different areas of Danish design. All of which you can read more about on http://www.danishdesignassociation.com/
We are proud to announce that we were accepted into DDA as associated member and are already benefiting as we have entered their mentor/mentee programme of which we have high hopes for. This is just the beginning!

So here we are at the end of may. 2008 is at full speed and so are our blogging and here follow some more stories about The Mark!

Enjoy
